كل نص، مقال، أو فكرة هنا تجربة حرة: تأملية، تجريبية، وأحياناً ساخرة، لكنها دائماً صادقة، تبحث عن معنى أكثر من مجرد كلام، وعن رؤية أكثر من مجرد حدث.
عزام الحموي ناشط سياسي وكاتب سوري، انخرط في العمل الثوري منذ انطلاق الحراك الشعبي السوري مدافعًا عن حرية الشعب وإقامة دولة مدنية ديمقراطية تحترم كرامة الإنسان وحقوقه.
ساهم في تنسيق الحراك الشعبي السلمي، وتولى منصب نائب في المؤتمر الثوري العام في إعزاز، قبل أن يؤسس "الكتلة الوطنية السورية"؛ وهي مبادرة تهدف إلى حشد القوى الوطنية والمعتدلة لبناء سوريا قائمة على قيم العلمانية والعدالة والمساواة.
من خلال كتاباته الأدبية والسياسية، يسعى عزام إلى فضح آليات الظلم والتطرف، وخلق مساحة فكرية حرة تُسهم في تشكيل مجتمع مدني راقٍ.
وهو يؤمن بأن الكلمة والحرية الفكرية هما أداتا التغيير الأساسيتان نحو غد أفضل.
يأتي كتابه "وطن على شكل مقبرة" كتتويج لرؤيته النقدية للواقع السوري المعقد، وانشغاله العميق بمسائل الإنسانية والعدالة الاجتماعية.

Azzam Al-Hamwi is a Syrian political activist and writer who immersed himself in revolutionary work from the very beginning of the Syrian popular movement, defending the freedom of the people and advocating for the establishment of a democratic, civil state that respects human dignity and rights.
He contributed to coordinating the peaceful popular movement and served as a deputy in the General Revolutionary Congress in Azaz, before founding "The Syrian National Bloc"—an initiative aimed at marshaling national and moderate forces toward building a Syria founded on the pillars of secularism, justice, and equality.
Through his literary and political writings, Al-Hamwi seeks to expose the mechanisms of injustice and extremism, and to cultivate a free intellectual space that contributes to the formation of a refined civil society. He firmly believes that the word and intellectual freedom are the two fundamental cornerstones of change toward a better tomorrow.
His book "A Homeland Shaped Like a Graveyard" stands as a culmination of his critical vision of the complex Syrian reality, and his profound engagement with questions of humanity and social justice.
